Lead the Colombian Business that is both strategic and dexterous across all aspects of business management, development, and sales (wholesale, retail, and digital) to drive the growth of the brand across the Colombian market. This is a key leadership role and an incredible opportunity to build and shape a rapidly growing business. Building upon an already successful and expanding list of wholesale accounts and retail business, and an early stage of team growth, this role will develop and scale a go-to-market plan for the Colombian region across all sales channels and countries, responsible for meeting growth and revenue targets as well have P&L ownership for the country.

- Establish a team and effective organizational structuresin partnership with peer Global Functional Leaders on the Leadership Team.
- Own P&L of the country accountable for annual business planning and performance versus targets
- Clarify the Sales Strategy and Set up the Business for Success:
- Lead the country Sales organization in the development and implementation of an Annual Financial Plan and Strategic Plan that is in line with evolving market trends and the competitor landscape in order to deliver identified sales KPI's (including sell-in and sell-out monitoring), revenue, growth, profitability, brand equity, and share
- Lead the development of the account segmentation strategy
- Lead the development of a channel of distribution strategy and identify new channels within which to drive growth
- Represent Levi´s externally, deepening relationships with accounts over time to deliver more value for the account partner and more revenue for Levi´s. This will include leading sales (market) meetings and sales launches.
- Participate, as necessary, in negotiating sales contracts and agreements that drive profitable sales growth for Levi´s
- Work with sales teams and senior levels at accounts to ensure that brand positioning within an account/distribution channel aligns with the segmentation strategy and overall brand messaging
- Highlight the risks and opportunities for achieving revenue and profitability targets to key stakeholders (internal and external) and obtain necessary resources to address these in support of the sales organization
- Provide input based on last year results in trends, SWOTs (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats), customer feedback, etc. to LATAM merchants to determine product assortments for the upcoming season
- Provide input to marketing (based on last year results trends, SWOTs, customer feedback, etc) to help drive the creation of sales tools for the upcoming season that will deliver a leading consumer experience across sales channels
- Ensure effective cross-functional alignment to achieve sales plan
- Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change within the region, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the consumer experience
- Develop and lead a Sales Organization:
- To deliver against current and future requirements and who have a clear understanding of the vision for the organization and what is needed to be successful
- Develop top sales talent who are results-oriented, customer and execution-focused and who also have the capabilities to assume different and/or more responsible roles in the organization over time
- Ensure execution by sales teams of the account strategies required to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Collaborate across the organization to iterate on solutions across sales channels, design and partner in the implementation of interdepartmental processes for strong execution between Operations, Product Teams, Merchandising, Marketing and Finance
- Work in close collaboration with key partners in MP&IM and Global Operations to ensure inventory levels are enough to meet consumer demand and achieve company financial targets
- Bachelor's degree (10+ years combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in General Management, managing larger teams, multiple business functions, and Sales. Apparel industry experience essential. Experience in the LATAM market is essential.
- Fluent in English
- Proven ability to profitably grow sales while aligning with brand and customer segmentation strategies
- Experience with successfully delivering results in a matrix organization and working collaboratively across functions
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of the drivers of profitability both for the company and its customers
- Ability to identify future business opportunities or risks and to develop strategies to address
- Ability to anticipate and identify competitor, retail, and market changes that may impact the business
- Experience leading sales teams on all metrics including daily, monthly, and annual revenue targets, account development, inventory levels, and delivering required gross margin
- Entrepreneurial and able to seek out and test opportunities. Must have vision - set out a plan and the grit and ability to deliver it, quickly and effectively. Work quickly. Fail fast and learn.
